Allocate journals and document lines based on dimensions or G/L Accounts.
The Journal Allocation Tool is a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central add-on that is used to run pre-defined allocations on journal lines and on document lines. It can allocate lines to combinations of dimensions, or any type of Account No. (G/L Account, Vendor, Customer, Bank Account, Fixed Asset, Item, IC Partner)

After installation, the Allocate button becomes available in the following journals and documents:
- General Journal
- Sales Journal
- Purchase Journal
- Cash Receipt Journal
- Payment Journal
- IC General Journal
- Job G/L Journal
- Fixed Asset G/L Journal
- Purchase Quote
- Purchase Order
- Purchase Invoice
- Purchase Credit Memo
- Blanket Purchase Order

Additional Features:
- Update allocated lines with new values
- Assign custom dimensions to the allocated lines, or keep the dimensions from the original line
- Select one or multiple lines to allocate
- Remove the original lines, or keep them after the allocation is complete
- Flip the sign of the amount on the allocated lines
